Lindsey & Martin
Terracotta, Lamma Island
There is something inherently magical about Lamma Island that just draws in everyone who visits, including myself! As someone who has never lived on Lamma but visit frequently, I find it so calming and grounding to be surrounded by water and nature everywhere you look. Which is why when L&M initially reached out to me, I was beyond excited to finally shoot a wedding at one of my absolute favorite places in Hong Kong! L&M wanted their day to be a true reflection of the place they call home. Even though they’re both expats, and come from different parts of the world, they chose to have their celebration right here and invited friends and family fly in from across the globe to experience the unique charm of Lamma. To make it even more special, they really leaned into the community by supporting local island vendors to help bring their day to life! Their perfect wedding didn’t just happen by accident though, L&M put an immense amount of thought, effort, and detail into planning every single element. But what I loved most about them was their ability to switch off on the actual day. Despite how much they cared about the details, the moment the celebration started, they were completely carefree. They let go and embraced the island vibe. For anyone who is considering getting married on Lamma, please do it! And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me document it :D
