Shooting for Kathy and Ramos’s destination wedding in Phuket was a milestone that will forever hold a special place in my heart as my very first destination shoot. From the moment the day began, there was an intentional stillness and warmth that set the tone for everything that followed. Rather than following a tightly packed rundown, or staging moments for an audience, Kathy and Ramos built a day focused entirely on presence over performance.
Surrounded only by a close knit group of guests who deeply adored them, they allowed the hours to unfold naturally, giving everyone the space to laugh, reflect, and soak in every golden hour breeze together. Experiencing a celebration where genuine human connection was prioritized over routine was so inspiring as a photographer. Documenting their story across borders showed me the magic of capturing love in new environments, and it has left me so eager for my next destination. I absolutely cannot wait to tell more stories in beautiful corners all over the world.
