Winnie and James's couple session was a heartfelt experience that took an unexpected turn. James initially reached out, mentioning that they were visiting from the US and wanted to capture their time in Hong Kong. What started as a typical photoshoot soon blossomed into something much more special when James confided in me that he planned to propose to Winnie during the session! I felt incredibly honored that he entrusted me with such a significant moment in their lives, and it definitely reminded me how meaningful this job is to me, and that not just his trust, but all the trust that my other couples have in me, it’s a responsibility I don't take lightly. After the incredibly touching and emotional proposal, the couple wandered around Central, taking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. They made sure to indulge in their favorite local snacks, egg tarts and milk tea, wrapping up the shoot on a sweet note. The day was a beautiful blend of joy, connection, and memorable moments that I was privileged to capture.
